With the Poetry in Print series printmaker Joe Buchanan and writer Maria McMillan continue their long standing collaboration that includes fringe festivals, giant poetry banners hanging from  buildings, protest street theatre, satirical leaflets, two children and thousands of meals which Joe cooks exceptionally well and Maria eats with some genius. 

Sab is a poem from Maria's 2013 fictional family history poetry book The Rope Walk.  Of Sab Maria says "One of my favourite books in the world is Alexander Warwick's 1911 dictionary of Scottish dialect, and this poem is drawn from a definition of the word Sab."

Text was set in Gloucester Condensed. The lincout and letterpress were both printed on the 8-5 Adana Press Joe shares with his twin brother and which lives in the Diatom Press studio, an old railway worker's hut in their mother's back garden.
