Inanga (Galaxias maculatus)

Inanga are one of the common whitebait species. Inanga are one of the world’s most widely distributed freshwater fish, found in streams throughout New Zealand and in Australia, South America and the Falkland Islands. Unlike many galaxids, they are often found in schools.
